Splintercat Field Engineering provides independent troubleshooting, commissioning, and field support for industrial equipment that doesn't fit neatly into a standard service category.
With more than 15 years of hands-on experience working with custom and specialized machinery, we've dealt with everything from mechanical and process problems to electrical controls, pumps, pneumatics, VFDs, PLC-connected equipment, heating and cooling systems, and high-pressure process equipment.
The goal is simple: understand what the equipment is supposed to do, determine why it isn't doing it, and find the most practical path forward.

Practical Field Support
Industrial equipment problems rarely stay inside one trade.
A machine that appears to have an electrical problem may actually have a failed sensor, a mechanical bind, a process condition outside its operating range, or a controls issue somewhere upstream.
Splintercat takes a systems-level approach to troubleshooting. We look at the machine as a whole—mechanical, electrical, controls, utilities, and process—to identify the actual failure rather than simply replacing parts until something works.
When possible, we also document what was found, what was changed, and what should be addressed next so your team isn't left guessing after the service call.
